Excited to let you know that I picked up some sweet new “Bumble Bee” tees today designed by local artist Kate Beck! This July I’m teaming up with my pal Gillian Moranz to play some shows. We will be rambling around Southern Alberta for a few days sharing music, poetry, stories, laughs and all round good times. Hope you can join us!

June is here! I’m spending the 1st day of the month with music students and parents at the annual Avenue Music recital, celebrating a year of hard work and music learning! Promises to be a fantastic afternoon full of great performances.

The month for me, as a musician, begins with the release of “Bumble Bee” on June 6… check out my cover of Memphis Minnie’s classic where you stream this coming Friday.

Shows to start the month include a collaborative evening of art, wine and music on June 7th at one of Calgary’s newest venues Rumblecan at City and Country Winery join us! Also a evening Blue Gospel instalment on June 8th at The Ironwood along with pals Steve Fletcher and Jon May.

Big thanks to the Allied Arts in Pincher Creek for a magical start to the month. So nice to see so many old friends and meet some new ones! Other fun for the month of May includes The Rhythm Method at Hayden Block, a solo spot at East Town Get Down and some recording!

Winter in April! Ha… one week today heading to the Coast. Looking forward to delving into THE BLUES with Kimberley and Sue as we launch Women Be Wise. So excited to be sharing the stage and playing some shows with these 2 super talented women. It’s going to be vintage & modern, classic & original, there will be lots of guitars and some sweet harmonies as well. March is here… spring snow & all. Some good things coming your way this month!! For those in Southern AB an International Women’s Day extravaganza is in the works… The Rhythm Method March 8 at The Slice in Lethbridge, and March 9 at The Ironwood in Calgary along wit the oh so cool Deep Love Revival and Kayla Williams and The Yacht Daddies.

Also March 22 I will be at The Ship for The Saturday Showcase along with my pal Matt Swann of Astral Swans… we have been buds for decades (actually) but this will mark our first foray on stage together and I’m pretty excited to see see where this goes.

after a very busy fall I’ve been enjoying lying pretty low through January. Thanks to the folks who’ve come out to a show this month, it’s been so nice to see your smiling faces and to connect with friends old and new to start the year.
